Be Ring Ready!

Plughz is owned and operated by Wendy Hammond, a horse owner and rider from New York. Her love of the horses and desire to solve equestrian problems lead her to create Plughz. She collaborates with top riders, trainers and equine specialists to come up with solutions that are tested, safe and high quality.

The History

Plughz ear plugs were introduced as a cotton alternative, as cotton is white and visible in the show ring. Traditional latex foam golf balls and cat toys can cause allergic reactions in horses, leading to ear sores. Plughz are made from a non-toxic foam solution, providing better sound deadening than traditional fleece. Available in black and three sizes, they fit all equine partners.

A natural extension from the ear plug is their popular Sound Off Ear Nets. These offer great sound deadening for those horses that don’t like ear plugs and for the dressage rider that can’t use ear plugs in the show ring.

They continued to create and provide great products and solutions for the equestrian world all to Be Ring Ready!
