Using Plughz Bit Wrap to Repair a Rubber Bit
Step 1
Start with a clean dry area to work in.
Step 2
Cut off a 5-8 inch piece. Use your discretion here. You are just trying to cover the broken parts and your bit might need more or less depending on how damaged it is.
Step 3
Remove the backing and start at the end of the bit and begin folding it over.
Be sure to really pull hard on the tape as you roll towards the joint. This will help self fusing process.
Step 4
Now do the same for the other side. Be sure to not create any creases and keep the wrap smooth and even. Then use pressure and the warmth of your hand to finish, smooth and fuse the wrap.
